Amazing Mini Disc Golf Shots

Although this blog is old and out of date, I'm hoping this post will refresh its greatness and give it new hope. Today I began to work on an upcoming video by making a mini disc golf shot. The shot I would be attempting was fairly simple, just a 40ish foot shot in front of my house. I was particularly excited to try this shot because I had recently purchased a new mini disc cage from a company called Whamo-o. At first glance you would think this cage was great. It's light, colorful and comes with six discs. Only after use would you discover its true evilness. One hour in to attempting this shot I realized I had only hit the basket once. That would be impressive if the shot was harder, but this was pretty easy. While blindly throwing discs I began to think of the structure of this cage. First of all, it's small, only measuring up to 3 and 1/2 feet. Second of all, it's plastic structure makes the cage very flimsy. When I did hit the cage, it nearly fell over upon impact. Lastly the chain structure of the cage is tiny and cannot brace the impact of a 25 gram disc hitting it. (Neither could a 25 gram disc accurately travel those distances, while a lighter 15 gram disc couldn't be thrown farther than 30 feet at all.) I am I little infuriated with the outcome of this situation, so I am going to cut the story short with some feedback. I am very disappointing with this cage and I feel that little to no mini disc shots will ever be made in the future. My final thoughts on this cage would be that its a toy, merely used for fun and brings shame as an item of productiveness.

(Am I the only one that can't tab my paragraphs in this new layout?)

I will leave you with a super exciting clip of wheezy waiter waving at me.

Week #11. Ping Pong

I think my next video will be Amazing Ping Pong Cup Shots 9. It could take up to a year so I will definitely put up videos in the mean time. This week I did A shot that I may or may not use, here are some pictures.

This picture of the camera is ugly and out of focus.

week #10.

I don't know what the next amazing trick shot video will be so I don't know what to post on this blog. The only thing I did this week was took some pictures, so I will try to get some up this week. In the mean time, check out my main channel to stay up to date. I'm probably posting a new video of a couple unused shots next week.

Week #7.

Like every week haha nothing happened. I like to portray my life as a lot of work, when really I kind of slack. I promise for a ton of awesome weeks full of trick shots, but there will also be boring weeks like this one. Even though nobody follows this blog, I like to thing people do. :D And if you read this, you're a boss!

Week #5. A Trip To Portland.

This week I went to Portland, Oregon to do some can tossing shots. It was nice because there were trash cans everywhere, versus my home town where it is a scavenger hunt just looking for a trash can to shoot in. The first shot I did was down by the river that passes through Portland. I was standing on top of a bridge and threw it down into a trash can. After that I went into down town Portland and made a few shots by the bus station. Later that day I stopped by a local park and made another pretty cool behind the back shot. To top the whole day off I then went to a Portland Trail Blazers game where I hoped an amazing full court buzzer shot would be made, but it didn't happen. Overall the week was great, I got a lot of great footage and pictures from my trip to Portland and I hope to go back again and make some more shots. I now have a whole night ahead of me editing the next can tossing video and finding a song for it. I hope to finish filming for the video by next week, which will make for a good blog post. Here are some pictures of trash cans from the trip.

Week #4. The Life of A Trick Shooter.

Another plain week goes by where nothing great happens. Although I had plans to go out and do a shot, it didn't happen. I decided to title this post The Life of A Trick Shooter since there was no adventure into trick shooting at all this week. Don't worry though, there are some big adventures planned this year precisely revolving around trick shooting. The one exciting thing this week was that I got my first follower of the blog! Haha I'm just doing this for the fun stuff. Another week down, 48 to go! (I did make a quick shot this week, watch it! www.Youtube.com/Chapmanvoris)
I took some pictures this week, here they are.
                                          Light art, really fun!
Stacking starbursts, how many can you stack?
                                          :)

Week #3. Lots of rain.

This week was a very tricky week. First of all, it was finals week. :( Second of all, it rained... A lot. With that being said, not much got done. Here's what went downU+2193.svg(Video on www.Youtube.com/CanTossing)
                                          I took this little boat...
And took it down this overflown creek.
                                          Shot by Slade366.

Hopefully next week the sun will be out and I will be able to get some more stuff done. Other than that, I will see you guys next week.

Week #2. Success at the Baseball Field.

This is how I reinforce my bottles haha.

Got any ideas for shots into that can?
Got the bottle stuck, watch the video of me getting out at www.Youtube.com/CanTossing

Destroyed bottle in gross trash can.

Cool clouds while walking home.

This week I went to a local baseball field attempting some shots for the next can tossing video. Sadly when I finally made a shot, I found out the camera wasn't recording. That was pretty depressing, but I hope you like the pictures. I also have a couple blooper videos on www.Youtube.com/CanTossing that you could check out. A lot of videos will be posted on there that are related to this blog. See you all next week.

The Adventures of Trick Shooting. Week #1

This is a new blog where every week I keep you guys up to date in whats going on and what happened this week trick shot wise. I don't know how well this blog will work out, or if anybody will even follow this blog but I wanted to do it either way. Here we go

So this was a pretty plain week, no intense trick shooting going on, (which is depressing since this is the first post) but I did happen to make a quick can tossing shot trying out my new camera. (Blogger quality is really bad haha)
